Hardware Recommendations for Autodesk Revit
Similar to most software developers, Autodesk keeps track of the system requirements for different Revit versions, which you may use to make sure your system's hardware is compatible with Revit. However, the majority of "PC requirements" lists focus more on what hardware is necessary than what would provide the optimum performance. Moreover, some lists may be out-of-date, include outdated modifications, or just plainly list substandard hardware.
Processor

While most Revit design activities can only use a single CPU core, a high-frequency CPU is the best option for these tasks, regardless of the number of cores. Because of this, the Intel Core i9 or i7 K-series processors, which both offer high clock rates coupled with a respectable number of cores (for multitasking, etc.), are used in our "Modeling & Design" workstation. However, we advise choosing a CPU with even more cores if you want to speed up your rendering times. The utilization of a CPU with additional cores, such as the ones in our "Rendering Optimized" workstation, would be highly advantageous for the Autodesk Raytracer (ART) rendering engine that comes with Revit.
Revit only supports a limited number of cores for modeling and design. Our tests revealed that for general modeling activities, a CPU with a high running frequency will provide the best overall performance. A higher-core-count CPU can, however, result in small to significant speed benefits for rendering.
Memory (RAM)
Although exactly how much RAM you require can vary depending on your specific projects, we typically advise 32GB for Revit. This should enable you to multitask with other applications like Photoshop or 3DS Max and open and work on a single project with a file size of up to at least 1 GB without any problems. You might want to upgrade to 64GB of RAM if you work with even larger models or frequently use Revit alongside even more demanding apps.

Video Card (GPU)

The video card is the only device utilized to display the model on the screen when working with models in Revit. Revit requires a relatively small amount of video card power, while a more powerful one can enable the model to be drawn at a greater FPS (frames per second) when rotating, zooming, or panning around the model. Since most operations in Autodesk don't really require an upgraded video card, we usually advise getting a mid-range GPU to handle the demands of Revit and other related apps that do require a GPU. Since Revit does not heavily use the GPU, VRAM is typically not a concern. If you have a 4K display, we recommend having at least 4GB to 6GB of VRAM, although all the video cards we currently offer for Revit have at least 8GB of VRAM.
But on the other hand, Arvuti.in also suggests you use only workstation cards, such as NVIDIA's professional RTX A-series product line cards, which are officially certified and recommended by Autodesk. As a result, we strongly advise utilizing certified cards in any business environment to ensure that Autodesk will provide you with complete support in the event that you have a software problem.
Storage Device
Primary Drive: OS/Software (SSD/NVMe): Includes your operating system and the base Autodesk Revit installation. An SSD is highly recommended as it will greatly improve how fast the OS and programs startup, but you can also upgrade to a faster NVMe drive for a small performance benefit. The recommended storage for installation of software is not more than 10 GB.
Since the primary drive will primarily be used to store Windows and software, including all software (except large Game), it doesn't need to be that large for the majority of users; a 500GB-1TB SSD will be enough for Drive C.
Secondary Drive: Project Files (Platter/SSD/NVMe) Having a second storage (either SSD or HHD) for storing assets and effects is a wonderful alternative if you have additional money to spend or keep a lot of them around for use on different projects. Of course, an internal or external hard drive is a more cost-effective option than a high-capacity SSD if you need more mass storage and preservation.
