Hardware Recommendations for Enscape
Rhinoceros, Sketch Up, Autodesk Revit, and other BIM and architecture software are frequently used with Enscape, a 3D visualization program. It presents real renderings of the outside and inside of building models using real-time ray tracing, which may be manipulated in virtual reality or on a screen. Enscape is a computer program that creates graphics in real time using a video card. It also creates recorded walk-through videos, panoramas, and other kinds of information. This indicates that the most essential component for total performance is the video card, or GPU.
Processor

Since Enscape is mostly a single-threaded application, the processor has little bearing on performance; however, a high clock speed is advised to prevent bottlenecks. Numerous popular CPUs, such as AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X or Intel's Core i7 14700K, are excellent choices and work well with many of the other apps that Enscape is likely to be used with. While models with more cores won't aid Enscape, they might have an impact on other apps and the system's ability to multitask.
There are two primary standards for CPUs that determine their capabilities: Firstly, the frequency has a direct impact on the number of operations (or speed) that a single CPU core can perform in a second. The quantity of physical cores in a CPU, or the number of simultaneous processes it can do, is known as its core count.
Memory (RAM)
While Enscape doesn't require a lot of system RAM, its requirements should be taken into account because it is typically used together with other BIM and architecture tools.
We typically advise a minimum of 16GB of RAM for all of our systems, while exactly how much you require will depend on the size and complexity of the model you will be using. However, we believe that 32GB is a decent starting point because of the relatively low cost of RAM and the fact that most users typically have more apps open on their PC than just Enscape.

Video Card (GPU)

The main factor affecting Enscape's performance is the video card. In general, we advise getting the greatest graphics card you can afford because the more processing power your GPU has, the better. Since Enscape offers NVIDIA RTX-specific capabilities as well, we often recommend purchasing a model from the most recent GeForce RTX 40 series. The minimum GPU memory required for Enscape is 4GB; however, we advise at least 8GB (which is also the minimum if VR is being used). You might require even more depending on the complexity of the projects you work on, but fortunately, modern graphics cards come with much larger quantities of VRAM if necessary. For most people, choosing between 12 and 16 GB is a fair range if you're unsure about your demands.
Due to Enscape's design to operate with a dual monitor arrangement, this class of video card will also handle multiple outputs. Also, DisplayPort is the most popular output format on modern video cards, so check to make sure your screens have the right inputs, or if not, try to pick up any adapters you may need ahead of time.
Storage Device
Primary Drive: OS/Software (SSD/NVMe): Includes your operating system and the base Enscape installation. An SSD is highly recommended as it will greatly improve how fast the OS and programs startup, but you can also upgrade to a faster NVMe drive for a small performance benefit. The recommended storage for installation of software is not more than 10 GB.
Since the primary drive will primarily be used to store Windows and software, including all software (except large Game), it doesn't need to be that large for the majority of users; a 500GB-1TB SSD will be enough for Drive C.
Secondary Drive: Project Files (Platter/SSD/NVMe) Having a second storage (either SSD or HHD) for storing assets and effects is a wonderful alternative if you have additional money to spend or keep a lot of them around for use on different projects. Of course, an internal or external hard drive is a more cost-effective option than a high-capacity SSD if you need more mass storage and preservation.
